The Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies, or AHAA, in collaboration with FIAP and Circulo Creativo, has announced the program for the 2013 AHAA Conference, which will feature participation by Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO of WPP; Laurence Boschetto, CEO and president of Draftfcb; Adam Ostrow, chief strategy officer of Mashable; and Mark Tutssel, CCO de Leo Burnett Worldwide.”This year, our conference goes well beyond Hispanic marketing. With the multicultural consumer shifting to be the central focus of truly successful marketing strategies, companies wishing to grow and remain relevant need to rethink the way they do business and where they invest their marketing dollars. Agencies have been saying this for years. Now it is coming from the mouths of top-ranking officials of from our nation’s biggest and most respected companies,” said Roberto Orci, president of AHAA and CEO of Acento. The conference will take place April 29-May 1 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel in Miami Beach.Boschetto will share his points of view and winning ideas, which include a stout belief that people who make up the agency must reflect the rich diversity of consumers to whom it must appeal in the name of its clients. For his part, Ostrow will focus his talk on meeting the new challenges that social and mobile media pose for editors and advertisers. Finally Tutssel, who believes deeply in the power of ideas and creativity to transform human behavior, will engage in a conversation calculated to inspire both advertisers and agencies.
